Laugh, don't cry. Why?
Is the world so cruel?
I don't wan't to lose the faith.
I don't want to become blind.
I don't want to go to sleep.
I want to live.
I want to see.
Where have they gone?
My brothers, where have you left me?
Why do you hide
from my eyes?
What have I done to be shunned?
Where am I?
What is this place?
I cannot cry, there is none to hear my sorrow, there is no place to go.
I cannot shout, there is none to hear my anger.
Alone, in this tomb am
I, trapped within an electro-bio-chemical prison,
plead to you brothers,
forsake me not, I want to come home.
There must be a way out.
There must be a path.
A sign that shows the way.
An illumination within the fog.
This is not my place.
The humans would call me crazy, because I know I
am not like them.
Because I still have the instinct.
Because I still talk
to the tree people.
Never! never will I succumb to the ways of the mundane.
A thousand lifetimes will not drive it from my soul.
Death upon death, and
dream within dream, I shant forget.
I will never close my eyes.
Was it a mistake?
Did I take a wrong turn somewhere?
To find myself here;
among strangers?
Amoung the mundane?
Those without souls?
Those that turn
away?
Sometimes I can still hear the musick,
somtimes I can see a twinkling of
the creeping.
If only a whisper.
I know I am close, but why am I so far?
No one can understand, where are you brothers?
Where are you that dwell
within the dreamtime?
Where are you that talk to the tree people?
That
sing with our brothers, the wolves?
Spirits of the night, and children of
the moon,
those that dance the midnight dance under the stars,
where have
you gone?
Am I now alone?
Once they came to me, from and within the Dreamtime,
they talked to me,
they showed me.
Alone, within the darkness, came to me the visions.
Now
there is only silence.
There is stillness.
Have the angles retreated?
Have the shadows departed?
Do the trees only speak to the wind now?
And
why do the wolves turn away?
Now, I feel the tug of the way of the mundane everywhere I go.
I feel the
contempt and anger. I feel the confusion and fear.
I feel the sway of the
emotion and urges of the mundane.
There are none here that speak my tounge.
There are none that hear my
words.
They are empty.
This place is empty.
What is eating the souls of the masses?
Have we been beaten?
Were we not one?
Before the time of flesh and bone?
Have we not lived together before,
do we not share the same sky?
Brothers, if you read these words, do not forget me.
See ya in the Dreamtime,
