In Thy visage,
Calm and motionless as the waveless sea,
That gloweth in compassion like melted gold,
For the universe entire,
I have not seen
The sweetness of compassion for me
Unto this day.
Will it ever appear
If I speak a few rough words?
When shall it be
That Thou make this insincere one
Sit in transcendental samadhi
Of Bliss supreme?
