Been bad enough hearing about the last Northern Cyclone producing the
best swell of the (ending) northern summer, but down here at Newport, OZ
there have been no waves to speak of now for over 18 days .... :-(
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17 and now 18 days!
Additionally, this winter down here kinda finished a little early and old
SydneyTown has not seen rain for over 6 weeks. Warrangambah Dam is down
to the 67% level and we are only today just into Spring. It's been hot.
Looks to be shaping up for another long hot (Southern) summer ....
As a consequence of dehydration setting in, and the first surf withdrawal
symptoms, I started out to gather up all the links scattered across the
web pointing at documents or web-sites related to "Real Surfing", as
distinct from the "NetSurfing/CyberSurfing" sport ...
Not only have I tried to gather up all the links & sites, but I tried to
gather up all the links of links of links, etc, etc.
In fact I think a few of the automated "SurfBots" are still crawling
though the cybersurfing whitewash looking for further leads on the
carefully hidden outoftheway "RealSurfType" web documents put up at one
time or another by a surfer or two or three .....
Even though the search is far from complete, what resulted from this
spell of "FlatAzzzzA" is a document entitled Global Oceanic Surf Links.
This is really nothing more than a definitive "List of Lists" to do with
every sufing related resource I could manage to have gathered since
someone kindly pulled the plug @ThePeak.
It may well not be complete, but should you fetch the document referenced
by the URL below, it will enable you to be perched at a truly awesum
"TakeOffPoint" into everything to do with surfing in existence on the web
as at the end of the (Southern) Winter of 1995 ......
One thing I am considerate of are those without web access and all I can
say is that I have every intention of maintaining this "List of Lists"
until such time as you do get web access sometime up the track ....
Finally, I welcome any E-Mail comments about adding, subtracting,
dividing or multiplying any inclusions, spelling mistakes, name mistakes
and you know, wherever I have stuffed up in general ....
I would prefer some swell to be sent instead but .... yeah ...
On the other hand if any swell arrives you can forget about the E-Mail
because at this stage of the game I could disappear for days.
