As I surrendered to Thee,
The body and wealth I held as my own,
And myself too.
I possessed nothing, though they were all there.
Why did Thou not in compassion stand within me?
Instead, why in this destructive way,
Thou entered my mind,
Made it waver and so marred my wisdom?
Thou, the Pervasive One, the Peerless One!
The Being First that alone art!
