Without letting me wander
Like a man in a fit of fury,
Thou gave me a body bouncing in health.
With tenderness as unto a mother
Until this day,
Thou appeared before me and instructed me.
Oh! Thou, the Silent One,
Now will I perform the iyama
And the rest of the eight limbed yoga,
Even as the books have taught.
