Mortal man has his being fixed in the present
As a seed is fixed in the earth, growing.
Looking to his past
A man sees the lands that have passed beneath his travels
As footprints of experience across the vastness of his soul.
Looking to his future
A man sees the horizons of many paths
Leading away to the places he may stand.
And within the fixity of his being
The visions of his Earth
Are illuminated with the lights of his Heaven
So that he will choose his path in accordance.
Out across the Earth
Many peer from canyons
Many look from plains
Many see from mountains.
But who is He who sees All.
For there is One Heaven that creates the Light
So that the man between
May see the Earth which receives it.
And within the flow of his being
His visions of the living Earth
Are illuminated with the Light of Heaven
So that from distant skies, in natural accordance,
His path opens out before his steady feet.
Children of the vast forests
Searching towards the source of the filtering light
Sensing the movement of the flowing streams.
To move outside the corridors of space and time
Receiving a glimmering in the darkness:
From a source far far above,
The angels of light descend from the Heaven
Beckoning, enchanting,
Whispering of powers beyond the self.
To be children of the Twilight leaving.
Children of the mighty rivers
Surging onwards toward the ocean
Flying with the wind across the lands.
To listen as the faint intertwining riffs of many musics
Harmonise into the eternal flow of creation.
To see life give itself to you
As wave after wave
And to strive to give yourself to all
In the making of section after section
Always cruising high on the curl
Always with the Giving hand ready
In the energy pocket of flow.
To be children of the Oceanic Morning:

Tenderly reaching beyond all horizons.

The waking sunrise breaks gently
Across the skies of being
Sending the shadows of atoms
Fleeing before its substance
As wisps of cloud fly before the moon
Across the face of the earth.
And across the face of the Earth
Journey the beings of creation
Searching for the love
And the dreams of others
To water the garden of their mind.
For they may perceive only the light
Or the shadow of atoms.
Borne on the fleeting wings of the photon
Come the first visions of the living Earth.
But borne on the shadow is only an absence
And from the illusory twilight
The pre-dawn wind, rising off the sea,
Whispers faint riffs in the flow of the cosmos.
For the sun will break
Even into the depths of the canyon-lands.
So let those of the mountain fields
To the vast oceans remain
Gentle riders of the silent dawn
Tenderly reaching beyond the horizon.

There is a journey for life's feet
For in the midst of all the earth
There rests a kingdom and a King.

Writings on Love
Just to recall the conclusion of the first little book, and to set
things well in this, six years have passed us by, but my heart still
recalls that time six years ago. The tapestry of our life we are
beginning to see is formed by the rainbow of experience and we have
both an artful hand, mind and heart, and light of eye to generate
this cloth as we walk on together.
One day this tapestry will be rolled up and judged for its quality
as are the fleeces of sheep. We have learnt alot, and we've much
still to learn, but there is one thing I am glad about, and that is
you. I am very much aware that there is a teaching to relate to and
more, that there is a mastery to be attained, and a Master to approach.
Of all the people I know and love in my life, so far would I seek your
partnership in this epic journey of life, for of all earthly folk, it
is you who I would choose as a companion, and a teacher, and a student,
and a labouring hand next to mine on the way.
The journeying voyage of life is one allright in the world; but more
primally it is a quest of discovery of the realm of the soul, for this
is the greater profit, the mysteries contained therein, and their
explanations and the setting of the dominion of light in our being.
I am with you Annie, further than all the way. May the tapestry of
our life give to those about us as does the sunshine, and may it be
to us, still and central and a source shared in the midst of our two
souls.
Love is the unified field:
